American Maintenance provides professional cleaning, handyman services, and landscaping. I've done all three services within the company, but I specialize in cleaning and window washing, since the handyman jobs are typically covered by some one who does only handyman work, and I really don't like landscaping for others. I like landscaping for myself and my family, not the blind, mostly un-creative routine labor landscaping for others usually means. I've leaned from the best in window washing, but I have a meager collection of appropriate tools and I prefer be wake and working at night time on my own schedule. Window washing is best done in the first few hours of sunlight and when not many people are coming and going to conduct business. Thus, I do clean windows, but I primarily clean indoors.
American Maintenance is a good company to work for, attracting good employees and supporting high profile businesses. For privacy and security, I will not mention those business, but they probably handle most of the money that flows through my home town, so you can be assured they are significant. Unfortunately, we can't seem to keep many long term cleaners or local-area management. That leaves me and about four others that I have contact with to keep things going in my area.
My work has allowed me to get creative with my knowledge of chemicals, maintenance techniques, and science. It looks mundane at a glance, but people are always surprised when I do more than pick up a labeled product and apply it. I research and develop my own techniques designed to produce professional results in less time than most others average. This makes happier customers and doesn't wear me out on simple work. Unfortunately, I am not a subcontractor, so I can only go so far in what services I can provide. Well... maybe not unfortunately? I don't have to do all the sales, contract negotiations, and paperwork, so there are some perks.
