Small Biography:
I am a DPhil student in pure mathematics at the University of Oxford, working in differential geometry. My supervisor is Professor Dominic Joyce (FRS), https://people.maths.ox.ac.uk/joyce/.Â
My research sits within calibrated geometry, with interests in tangential mathematical physics.
My doctoral work began with the study of U(1)^{n-2}-invariant special Lagrangian n-folds, generalising Joyce's foundational result on U(1)-invariant special Lagrangian 3-folds to higher dimensions. I'm currently extending this programme to U(1)^{2}-invariant Cayley 4-folds, which is a larger setting, of which U(1)^{2}-invariant special Lagrangians form a natural subclass.
