Families from across Madison Heights came together for our Pinwheels for Prevention Event, held at the Madison Heights Fire Department in collaboration with the Madison Heights Women's Club and Central Church volunteers.
The event aimed to highlight the importance of family play, bonding, and healthy self-care practices in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Families were invited to tour the fire station, participate in interactive art and games, and engage in conversations about fostering strong family relationships.
Interactive Experience
Children and parents alike enjoyed the hands-on activities and games, which encouraged creativity and togetherness. From art stations to simple games, everyone found something enjoyable to participate in. The event provided a platform for families to spend quality time together and learn new ways to connect.
Community Partnership
The collaboration between Madison Heights Youth Assistance, the Madison Heights Women's Club, and Central Church Volunteers underscored the community's commitment to supporting families. By coming together, they created an event that reflected the values of unity and support that are central to Madison Heights.
As families left the event, they carried with them not only fond memories but also a deeper appreciation for the importance of family bonding and self-care. The Pinwheels for Prevention Event served as a reminder that strong families are the foundation of a thriving community.
Madison Heights Youth Assistance extends its gratitude to all who attended and contributed to making the event a success. Together, we take a step forward in building stronger, more resilient families in Madison Heights. For updates on future events and initiatives, visit our website: www.mhya.org
