The City Opera House is within walking distance of the Park Place Hotel and the evening will begin with an array of delicious buffet style appetizers prepared and presented by Catering by Kelly’s and followed by a lively talk given by local author Mardi Jo Link. There will be an opportunity to purchase her books and book signing.
Catering by Kelly’s is a preferred vendor for the City Opera House and is a family owned and operated business serving Northern Michigan since 1986. Owner Dan Kelly got his start at age 14 as a cook in a local restaurant. Mardi is the award winning author of two memoirs and three true crime books books, including Isadore’s Secret, Bootstrapper and most recently The Drummond Girls: A Story of Fierce Friendship Beyond Time and Chance.
