The agency provides advocacy, domestic violence services, health services, immigration services, legal services and volunteer opportunities for low-income residents in Los Angeles County who have incomes up to 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Geographic restrictions apply for some services.

CHIRLA

CHIRLA works to provide the high-quality representation our community requires. CHIRLA is recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) and conducts a variety of immigration legal services at a low cost. Licensed attorneys supervise all legal staff, including accredited representatives and paralegals. Legal services include:

COMMUNITY LEGAL AID- SO CAL

Get answers to questions about housing, custody, employment, or other issues due to the coronavirus.

They assist with; Immigration, Public Benefits, Elder Abuse, Domestic Violence, Divorce & Custody, Health, Housing, Consumer, Employment.

Services are provided at three locations in Norwalk and Compton.

LEGAL AID FOUNDATION LOS ANGELES

Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles follows federal poverty guidelines and assists people with income less than 125% of the federal poverty guidelines. However, sometimes people with income over 125% of the federal poverty guidelines can qualify as well. Please visit their website to see if you qualify and to apply lafla.org/get-help/
