I am a self-motivated Master's student in Geology with a passion for understanding how groundwater sustains ecosystems in the face of climate-driven disturbances. With a background in geophysics and hydrogeological modeling, I thrive on connecting field-based observations with numerical simulations to address real-world water resource challenges.
As a Graduate Research Assistant, my current work focuses on developing a cross-sectional ecohydrology model of the Medicine Bow Mountains to study how shallow groundwater supports post-disturbance forest regeneration across wetland and hillslope systems. My broader interests include ecohydrology, environmental geophysics, mountain hydrology, and groundwater-surface water interactions.
Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience through field surveys and modeling projects in both Bangladesh and the U.S. I’ve worked on groundwater flow modeling, geophysical data interpretation (ERT, MASW), and hydrological analysis using tools like ModelMuse, Leapfrog, and ParFlow. These experiences have shaped my understanding of subsurface processes and deepened my commitment to geoscientific problem-solving.
