You’ve already done an amazing job sharing what you want to be when you grow up — I loved hearing all your ideas! This month, we’re going to keep exploring careers in some new and exciting ways.
Here are the activities we’ll be doing:
We’ll look at different tools and objects and try to match them to the careers they belong to.
Examples:
Who uses a whisk?
Who needs a magnifying glass?
Who works with a map?
Get ready to guess and learn!
We’ll explore important careers in our community — like nurses, farmers, bus drivers, mail carriers, and more. You’ll pick one community helper and share:
What they do
Why their job matters
One fun fact about that career
We’ll talk about the skills you’re already using every day — like helping others, solving problems, staying creative, or being a great teammate — and match them to careers that use those skills.
You’ll create a short, fun story about a day in the life of someone doing a job of your choice. It doesn’t have to be the job you chose before — pick anything that sounds interesting!
I can’t wait to see your ideas and creativity as we keep exploring the world of work together! Be sure to email them back to me!
If you have any questions, I’m always here to help.
