Specialty/Interests: Primary Care
Dr. Boxer grew up in Southbury, CT. After completing her undergraduate degree at James Madison University, she volunteered for one year at a health-related AmeriCorps program in Massachusetts. She completed medical school at UConn and then ventured to Boston for pediatric residency at MGHfC. Here, she caught the contagious “MGHfC bug” and hasn’t left since. She stayed on for a chief year and was thrilled to be offered a primary care position at MGH Revere, the site of her residency continuity clinic. Her professional interests lie in patient education and since 2009, she has served as the Medical Editor for CARMA (Child and Adolescent Resource Materials), a pediatric intranet site for Partners pediatric providers. She is also is the medical liaison for Revere Public Schools and meets regularly with the school nurses to review and create school policies. She lives in Cambridge and enjoys taking advantage of all that city life and the New England area has to offer with her husband and two young children.
