Mariel (Molly) Smith, MD

Dr. Smith grew up on Long Island but came to Massachusetts for undergrad at Wellesley College where she majored in Neuroscience. She returned to New York for her medical training and completed both medical school and residency at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell. She then completed fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the combined Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center/New York Presbyterian-Cornell program. After 11 years in NYC, Molly returned to Boston to join the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology team at MGHfC. Her academic interests include disorders of hemostasis & thrombosis and hematologic malignancies. Outside of work Molly enjoys traveling, NY Times crossword puzzles, barre, and spending time with her husband and 7 month old daughter.
