Subspecialty: Palliative Care
Katharine Davidoff, MD grew up in the Boston suburbs and attended Boston University for her undergraduate degree, where notably she spent her free time selling souvenirs at Fenway Park. She moved to Washington, DC after graduation to work as a research assistant in a lab at NIH and then stayed local to complete her medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Missing her native New England, she returned to her roots and completed her pediatric residency at UMass in Worcester, where she was also a chief resident. She completed her fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Boston Children’s and joined MGH as a full-time pediatric palliative care clinician in fall 2020. She loves caring for patients coping with serious medical conditions and enjoys teaching the residents all things palliative care with her non-clinical time. When she is not at the hospital, you can usually find doing anything active outdoors (running, hiking, skiing), cheering on her Boston sports teams, or spending time with her family and friends.
