Elisabeth Winterkorn, MD

Dr. Winterkorn grew up in New York City and received her AB in Literature from Harvard College. She headed back to “The City” for med school at Cornell. After graduating in 2002, she headed back to Boston to complete her pediatrics residency at MGHfC. After residency, she spent a year as a clinical fellow at the Herscot Center for Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. She then found her home in primary care. She is now the Medical Director and President of Children’s Medical Office in North Andover, MA. She still enjoys returning to MGHfC to teach developmental and behavioral pediatrics and other primary care topics to the residents. She is also a continuity clinic preceptor as well. Outside of work, Dr. Winterkorn is married to another MGHfC alum (a Med-Peds graduate now hospitalist at Newton Wellesley Hospital) and they have three children - two teens and a tween. They recently adopted a dog and 6 chickens in addition to their menagerie of cats, fish, and a hamster. She loves to bake, sew, knit, and sing.
