Aisha James, MD, EdM

Originally from Milton, MA, Aisha earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and French from Amherst College, her Master’s of Education from Brooklyn College, and her MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She worked as a special education teacher in NYC prior to medical school. She completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2018. After residency, Aisha served as the Primary Care Chief Resident (2019-2020). She now works as a PCP at MGH Everett Family Care, and works to promote equity at MGFC as the Associate Director for Diversity & Equity Committee. She lives in Somerville, MA with her husband and two children.
