Student Leads

Justin Tan

​Justin is a grade 8 student attending Westmount Charter Mid-High School. In 2020, he helped a University Graduate Student run a similar competition and used what he learned to participate in the Science Fair. He was able to score himself a Calgary Youth Science Fair Gold Medal and two awards (Jivraj Elementary Biology Award and Solar & Renewable Energy Award). Justin is thrilled to share his knowledge with other students at the school and can't wait to host this challenge with his brother. 

Aaron Tan

​A grade 10 student currently attending Westmount Charter Mid-High School, Aaron is very excited to be one of the student leaders for the MFC Challenge. Ever since he won with his team in two similar challenges in 2020, Aaron has been interested in this innovative new technology. Aaron is looking forward to work with all the students on an "electrifying" MFC Challenge.
