By downloading, installing, or using MBA Authenticator (“the Application”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Application.
MBA Authenticator is a two-factor authentication (2FA) application that generates time-based and counter-based one-time passwords (TOTP/HOTP) locally on your device.
The Application is designed to:
Enhance the security of your online accounts
Operate entirely offline
Store all data locally on your device without external transmission
You must be at least 13 years old to use MBA Authenticator. By using the Application, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You agree to use MBA Authenticator responsibly and acknowledge that:
You are solely responsible for managing and safeguarding your device
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your authentication data where applicable
Loss, theft, or compromise of your device may result in loss of access to your secured accounts
You are responsible for securely storing backup codes provided by third-party services
MBA Authenticator does not collect, transmit, or store user data on external servers.
All authentication data:
Is stored locally on your device
Is not accessible by the developers of MBA Authenticator
Cannot be recovered by us if lost
Because of this architecture, we cannot assist with:
Account recovery
Retrieval of lost authentication keys
Backup restoration
MBA Authenticator is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
Fitness for a particular purpose
Reliability or uninterrupted availability
Accuracy or error-free operation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MBA Authenticator and its developer shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to:
Loss of access to accounts
Loss of data or authentication credentials
Security breaches resulting from device compromise
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Your use of the Application is at your own risk.
While MBA Authenticator is designed with security best practices:
No application can guarantee absolute security
The overall security depends on your device and usage habits
You are responsible for enabling device-level protections such as passwords, PINs, or biometric locks
You agree not to:
Use the Application for unlawful purposes
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Application
Use the Application in a way that could harm its functionality or integrity
All rights, title, and interest in and to MBA Authenticator, including its design, code, and branding, remain the property of its developer.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application for personal use.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time.
Changes will:
Be posted within the Application or its official distribution platform
Take effect immediately upon publication
Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
You may stop using MBA Authenticator at any time by uninstalling the Application.
We reserve the right to discontinue or modify the Application without prior notice.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
