A 22-year-old who lives with her parents in Reservoir could make millions from an unusual fruit bowl. By Janet de Silva.

In the world of high design, the fruit bowl comes in many shapes and forms. There are spiky bowls constructed from wire sticks; bowls woven from anodised aluminium; moulded bowls in resin and concrete; and even a bowl constructed out of toy plastic soldiers.

In short, fruit bowls have been done to death. Undeterred, Lisa Vincitorio chose to design one during her final year at Melbourne's RMIT University.
