Walk for Water

Information about the Walk for Water: 

The Walk for Water is going to be a 5k walk with each participant carrying a gallon of water.  This isn't going to be the easiest thing, but many people in other countries have to do a walk like this each and every day sometimes going further than 5k. It is something that they have to do to survive, so they don't think twice about it.  Water is something that each of us sometimes takes for granted.  We  always have water. But this is a chance to realize what others have to go through to get life sustaining water. Through supporting this event you could take part in providing a reliable water source in underdeveloped communities. Join in on this event, and see how it can change somebodies life!

When: This event will be held the 20th of June 2026 at nine o'clock!   Make sure to fill out one of the entry forms either online or by mail.  When you arrive, pick up your shirt and a gallon of water, and wait for the walk to begin!

Where: The WALK will be held at the Meyersdale Train Station. The address is 527 Main Street, Meyersdale PA 15552.

Cost: The entry fee is as follows:

Entry fee received before May 28th is $35. This will also guarantee a shirt.

Entry fee received from May 29th through race day is $20 without guarantee of a shirt. 

All of the money that is made is going to a nonprofit organization that makes wells for underdeveloped nations. Go online and check it out! It is the H2O for Life Organization. Hopefully, from this walk, we will have enough money to change one communities life.
