In a nutshell? We're just your average zillenial community members trying to do our part to save the planet from the impacts of global imperialism, unchecked capitalism, and the harm caused by those in power who are disconnected from the land and driven by greed.

We hail from Dearborn, MI, and are mostly comprised of practicing Muslims. There is no doubt in our minds that what happens here impacts the globe, so we're focusing on our home in order to make the change that we truly want to see in the world. A key component of our religion is taking care of the Amaanah (Trust) the has been assigned to us, and there is no greater responsibility than that of the earth. That's where we all live, after all. 

When we say we are "stewards of the earth", that means we recognize our responsibility to the land, air, and soil that houses everything we've ever known. It is our job to take care of it and make sure that we are passing on a world to our descendants that is better than the one we entered. That includes how we treat all the animals, plants, insects, and other creatures--we are only as strong as our most vulnerable members. 

The fight for a just future manifests itself in many ways.
