Vision

The Library envisions that it will fulfill its unique role as a major contributor to the academic, cultural, and social development of the MET School of Architecture and Interior Design, Nashik. To give maximum information services in minimum time in maximum possible ways.

Mission

To inculcate reading habits among the students. The MET SOA Library commits to serving with excellence by treating each individual with compassion and respect. To build a state-of-the-art knowledge resources center for Architecture,  Design, and allied subjects. To provide information resources and services proactively in support of the teaching, learning, and research needs of MET SOAID.

Values

In all of our interactions, we are guided by our core values like Knowledge, Service, Quality, Integrity, Respect, Communication, goodness, discipline, accountability, cooperation, and problem-solving.


Following are the five Laws of Library Science given by a theory proposed by Dr. S.R. Ranganathan and the library follows them as an operating system for the library.

5. The Library Is A Growing Organism 


The MET SOA Library staff follow Michael Gorman's principles of librarianship  of core liberal, democratic, and humanistic values, which are:-
