Any app that allowed automatic forwarding of text (SMS) or multimedia (MMS) messages to another number was banned by Google in early 2019. As a result, Message Forwarder had to be removed and migrated from the Google Play Store onto other app stores. Additionally, Message Forwarder also became available as a standalone app that can be downloaded independently of any app store.
