How can we continue to learn how to program our robots while our robot is inaccessible at school? How can we strengthen our critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork abilities if we cannot physically interact with each other? Well… there is an answer!
Amazon Future Engineer is offering free CoderZ licenses to teachers to use with their students. MES Robotics Club applied and was granted a free classroom account that will be active as long as our school is closed.
CoderZ is an online learning environment to learn STEM, coding, and robotics with virtual cyber robots. Each of you will be able to have your very own robots. One of them is a virtual version of the well-known LEGO Mindstorms EV3, and the other one is CoderZ’s robot, named Ruby. With these virtual robots, we can learn how to program and code sensors and systems that run the robot.
