Hello and Welcome! I look forward to this school year where students will learn about science and social studies in my classroom. My goal is for all 5th graders to enjoy learning and feel comfortable enough to ask questions, engage, and share their knowledge. If you or your student has concerns regarding content, homework, or assessments, please contact me directly so we can discuss and problem solve together.

Please encourage conversations and curiosity in your home all year long. Along with the 5th grade standards, students are encouraged to share their questions with teachers and family members to strengthen their growth. The more students use these skills, the more confident they will become when navigating the world around them.

Most importantly, help make learning fun for your child. Homework should not be a stressful time for families.
