Anchoring shows is one of my favorite things to do as a member of WTHS. I really enjoy writing the script and being on camera. Anchoring can be viewed as the glue that holds an episode together because it seamlessly connects each segment.
Wavely is Tupelo Public School District's first ever therapy dog. She visits various Tupelo schools several days a week to spread positivity and lift spirits. I had so much fun working on this informative yet touching story.
Several Tupelo High School students take lessons at the Tupelo Academy of Dance Arts. I wanted to feature them and spread the word about the upcoming production of Coppélia. I put an emphasis on natural sound in this story, and I believe it brought the package to a whole new level.
Finalist for MSPA Best Feature Story (fall 2021)
Thomas Roper, a freshman at Tupelo High School started his own hand sanitizer business when the global pandemic first started. He is already very involved on campus will no doubt be successful in his future endeavors. I really enjoyed featuring a newer student at the high school.

The construction teacher, Mr. Bridges injured himself as a result of an unfortunate incident during class. Several teachers chipped in, and the collision repair students fixed up his truck while he was at the hospital. I was honored to be trusted with such a delicate and heartfelt story.
