Merced FBLA students took part in a field trip to Dell’Osso Farms. The visit provided an opportunity for members to spend time together, explore the venue, and experience a popular local destination.

FBLA proudly took part in FFA’s Fall Fest by hosting an engaging booth that connected with the community and highlighted our organization. Visitors learned about FBLA’s mission, discovered leadership and career opportunities, and enjoyed fun, interactive activities. The event provided a great opportunity to collaborate with FFA, celebrate the season, and inspire future leaders to become part of the FBLA family.

Parth Mishra, Luna Mena, Camden Gudgel and Advisor Mr. Del Toro travelled during summer break, June 12-14th to Westlake Village for the CA FBLA Leadership Summit. Section Officers, State Officers and Section Leadership attended this two day event where students learned leadership lessons, participated in activities, networked with all the sections from across the state. For the social activity, everyone attended FBLA night at Dave & Busters and enjoyed dinner and games!  The long drive to Los Angeles was worth it. Students and Adviser brought back great ideas to engage their section and chapter.

Parth will be serving as the Section Historian & Parliamentarian. Luna will be serving as the Section Secretary. Camden will be serving as the Section President and the CA FBLA Vice President representing the Central Section.

FFA & FBLA teamed up to celebrate CTE Week during FBLA Week! Theme was Blue & Gold! The week ended with a Blue & Gold Color Run on Saturday, Feburary 15th. FFA Leadership students organized the event. FBLA Marketing students created and printed t-shirts for participants. 

Our MHS Marketing students had an amazing experience visiting Kind Neighbor, where they had the privilege of meeting Rocio, a passionate entrepreneur and small business owner. Rocio shared her inspiring journey, discussing the history of her business, her commitment to healthy food, and her mission to positively impact the community. She provided students with a firsthand perspective on entrepreneurship, highlighting both the challenges and rewards of building something meaningful. A heartfelt thank you to Rocio for sharing her story, wisdom, and dedication, inspiring the next generation of business leaders!

This blend of education and entertainment created an experience that was both enriching and enjoyable, strengthening bonds among participants and leaving a lasting impression on their personal and professional growth. Equipped with fresh insights, inspiration, and unforgettable memories, FBLA members are now ready to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams with confidence and enthusiasm.

This year, FBLA participated in Club Rush, showcasing our mission and activities to prospective members. Students had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of joining FBLA, including leadership development, networking opportunities, and hands-on experiences in business and entrepreneurship. Our booth featured engaging displays and enthusiastic members ready to share their experiences, inspiring others to become part of our dynamic organization. It was an exciting day of connecting with peers and growing our FBLA community!

Members were able to start the State Conference by learning Leadership the Disney way with a 2.5 hour workshop and a day at Disneyland.  Members enjoyed an entertaining meal at Medieval Times before attending the Awards of Excellence at the State Conference. All members in attendance had a great time.

Marketing students visited the Coliseum for Career Day, where they had the opportunity to engage with a variety of colleges at their informational booths. This allowed them to explore numerous educational and career options. Following the college and career fair, they enjoyed an exciting Oakland A's game.

Embark on a Journey of Business Leadership: In October 2023, members of FBLA were treated to an enlightening tour of Dell'Osso Family Farms. Led by the owner, this immersive experience provided invaluable insights into the inner workings of a successful enterprise. From the farm's humble beginnings to its current stature, members gained a deeper understanding of business dynamics and effective management practices.

During the tour, the owner passionately shared the farm's rich history and the strategies employed to navigate challenges and achieve growth. Through anecdotes and practical examples, members learned about the importance of innovation, customer engagement, and strategic decision-making in driving business success.

After the insightful tour, FBLA members had the opportunity to enjoy the farm's attractions, including navigating the intricate corn maze and partaking in other engaging activities. This combination of education and recreation made the experience both enriching and enjoyable, fostering camaraderie among participants and leaving a lasting impact on their personal and professional development. Armed with newfound knowledge, inspiration, and unforgettable memories, FBLA members are poised to embark on their own entrepreneurial journeys with confidence and enthusiasm.

Information & Technology and Computer Science students visited the Tech Museum and San Jose State University. At the Tech Museum, they explored innovative exhibits and interactive displays on technology and computing. Their visit to San Jose State University provided insight into academic programs and career opportunities in their field.

Marketing students attended Career Day at the Coliseum, where they explored various educational and career paths through informational booths from multiple colleges. After the fair, they capped off the day with an exciting Oakland A's game.

Calling all FBLA thrill-seekers! Our Champion Chapter activity took us on an adrenaline-fueled adventure to Six Flags Great America. It was a day packed with laughter, excitement, and unforgettable memories. From soaring through the skies on roller coasters to bonding with fellow members, it was the ultimate blend of fun and camaraderie. Here's to more thrilling experiences ahead with FBLA!
