Welcome to MERAKI

MERAKI (former Makati) is a beach camp on the coastline of Sinai, Egypt, with wooden huts to sleep in, just few meters from the sea. Life here is simple and very much in contact with nature. Warm yourself in the Sinai sun, looking out over the mountains, with your bare feet in the sand, taking refreshing dips in the sea, while breathing in the ocean air.

Our camp is more a community than a tourist attraction, and what our guests tell us is that they feel immediately at home. The land is very powerful with strong healing energy, taking away from us all that we don’t need to carry anymore.
