Global IIT-IIM Alumni Support Group started in the year 2017.
It is a professional networking platform for IIT, IIM and NIT alumni belonging to the Constitutionally marginalised Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes which aims to serve the society. The Group has more than 1,000 alumni across the world and is fast growing.
The Group is deeply inspired by the social justice philosophy and has a modern, futuristic, humanitarian outlook.
The playing field is not level for all.
The mission is to support fellow alumni academic, professional and social progress as a means to pay back and uplift the community as a whole. The Group also does advocacy work to improve representation in various areas. It is non-political and works on trust, respect, integrity and community service spirit.
