UPH Vrapče is the largest psychiatric hospital in Croatia, providing inpatient and outpatient mental health services to around 7,000 patients annually. It includes three national centres of excellence in social psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, and old age psychiatry. The hospital is also a teaching institution for students and professionals in medicine, nursing, psychology, social work, and psychiatry, and places strong emphasis on involving families in the rehabilitation process through psychoeducation and support.
In the context of this application, UPH Vrapče carries out various psychosocial interventions such as social skills training, stress management, psychotherapy, and family support. The hospital has developed several manuals and tools for rehabilitation and stigma reduction and has participated in multiple Erasmus+ projects, producing educational materials in collaboration with partners. It also works with EUFAMI on the PROSPECT programme, aimed at empowering both families and individuals with lived experience of mental illness.
The organisation works primarily with adults aged 18 and above, with different mental health diagnoses. It also trains a wide range of students and health professionals, contributing to education and workforce development in the field of mental health care.

AMAFE (Asociación Española de Apoyo en Psicosis) is a non-profit organisation that supports people with mental health problems and their families through a wide range of psychosocial services. Its main activities include psychosocial intervention focused on recovery and autonomy, support for families through group sessions and personalised guidance, awareness campaigns to reduce stigma, gender equality initiatives, and professional training in mental health care. AMAFE also collaborates in research projects to ensure that its actions are evidence-based and effective.
In the framework of this application, AMAFE develops structured psychosocial support programmes aimed at adults with mental health conditions. These programmes are designed to improve emotional resilience, stress management, and social participation. Additionally, AMAFE delivers training sessions to mental health professionals, caregivers, and other relevant actors to enhance their understanding and effectiveness in the field of mental health.
The organisation works with various target groups, particularly young adults aged 18–30 who seek early intervention and support for recovery, and adults between 30 and 65 years old living with mental illness, who benefit from coping strategies and resources to improve their quality of life.

EPIONI is a dynamic organization that supports individuals who work tirelessly as informal, unpaid carers of family members or friends who are struggling with physical or mental illness, disability, or addiction.
