Travel support
Limited support is available for reimbursing participants’ lodging and travel expenses. This support is primarily for students and postdocs based in the United States.
Local information
UIUC is located in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois. It can be reached by
air (Champaign Willard Airport, airport code CMI) via American Airlines;
bus (Peoria Charter) from Chicago and Chicago airports;
train (Amtrak) from downtown Chicago.
Graduate students who are provided accommodations are arrange at Townsend Hall of Illinois Street Resident Halls (ISR, google map);
Accommodation for speakers (more detailed to be announced).
All other participants should make their own lodging arrangements.
Foods: There are many restaurants on Green street between Wright street and First street. There are also restaurants near Goodwin&Oregon, which is near Bevier Hall..
