Mendon Town Beach Rules
Everyone entering the beach (including non-swimmers) must check in at the Snack Shack and pay admission.
All Transactions are final, there are no refunds.
NO FLOTATION DEVICES (Except Coast Guard Approved Lifejackets)
We do not allow: Noodles, Water Wings, Inflatables, or swim suits with floats

No Lifejackets at the Far Dock
Any patron using a lifejacket must be under the direct supervision (within 10 ft) of a parent or guardian at all times
Patrons requiring the use of diapers must use swim diapers
All patrons must wear appropriate swim attire (Including infants & children)
All patrons must be 12+ or accompanied by a parent or guardian
No swimming allowed without lifeguards on duty
No one may enter or leave over the ropes
No one may hang on the ropes
No swimming under the docks
No more than 8 people on a dock at once
No pushing, roughhousing, or dangerous behavior
No boats or other water craft
There is a public access ramp for kayaks and small self-propelled boats to the right of the beach.
All boats must remain 50 feet from the marked swimming area (per Mendon By-Laws Ch.12, §4)
No Fishing or Fishhooks
No Dogs or other pets (Except Service Animals in accordance with the ADA)
No Glass Containers or Alcoholic Beverages or Grills
Bikes must be kept in the bike area near the entrance
If thunder is heard the water will be cleared for 20 min.
NO SMOKING – This includes the use of Electronic Cigarettes.
Anyone violating these rules or acting inappropriately will be asked to leave
