My name is Mena Pobega and I'm a freshman at Cleveland State University. I am majoring in Bio-Medical Lab Sciences with a minor in Criminology. My dream career is to be a medical examiner in an urban area. I am from Garfield Heights, Ohio, which is right outside Cleveland.

In my free time I watch a lot of crime documentaries and have found that the problem solving aspect of crime/police work is my passion. Because I love problem solving and the logical side of learning, this research project has been a great experience to become more comfortable using what I know about answering a specific question based on logic, data and research. This process has overall taught me a lot of things I will be able to use in my future career and as a science major.
