The Welcome Reception will take place on Sunday, June 14, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the Monumental Complex of Saints Marcellino and Festo (https://www.unina.it/en/w/card-2-duplica-1), located in the historic center of Naples.

The complex is one of the city's most remarkable historical and architectural landmarks. Originally founded in the early Middle Ages and extensively renovated over the centuries, it features elegant cloisters, richly decorated interiors, and a unique blend of artistic and cultural heritage. Today, it is part of the University of Naples Federico II and serves as a prestigious venue for academic and cultural events

From Via Partenope, where the conference venue is located, the reception venue can be reached in several ways:

• By taxi: approximately 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic.

• On foot: approximately 30–35 minutes through the historic center of Naples.

• By public transport: several options are available. Participants may take a bus from the seafront area toward the city center or walk to Napoli Metro Line 1 and travel to the stations Università or Dante, both within walking distance of the venue.

The social dinner will take place in the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia https://www.ryccsavoia.it/it/, located on the waterfront near the Congress Center (Banchina Santa Lucia, 13).

The Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia, founded in 1893, is one of Italy’s most prestigious and historic yacht clubs. Nestled along the picturesque waterfront of Naples, in the charming Borgo Marinari, the club offers breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples, Vesuvius, and the iconic Castel dell’Ovo. The club's elegant setting, blending maritime tradition with refined hospitality, provides the perfect backdrop for the Gala dinner of our scientific conference.

The Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia is located in Borgo Marinari, just a short distance from the conference center.

1. From Via Partenope, head towards Castel dell’Ovo, the historic seaside castle.

2. Cross the small bridge leading to Borgo Marinari, a charming marina area with restaurants and boats.

3. Once inside Borgo Marinari, follow the path along the waterfront. You will find the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia on your right.

The walk takes about 5 minutes.
