I'm Harmony. If you find this document, I feel sorry for you, because you have the story of the most eventful time of my being. The invertebrate minding its own business best described my life until I wanted to know the unknown. I warn you, there is information in this story that can get you killed, or worse. If what I think happened really did happen.
Just in case this document makes it out of the star system I might need to explain some things. My people are plants, we make food by using the light of the great star, and consuming carbon-based organisms, mostly ones with exoskeletons. The skin of our stem is green and thick with big leaves on our tops. They sit on our heads based on how we feel and how much time we spend in the star’s light. With vines like mussels that allow us to manipulate our surroundings. Touching the soil with our roots gives us the liquids we need to make the energy we use each day. Or liquids for fun. No matter where you live in the system, we all need the star. This is what I feel needs to be told to anyone outside of this star system receiving my message. It is theorized by some of our scientists that organisms on other planets may not be anything like this, so I had to break it down.
A customer walks into the antique shop on the orbiting space station Elegba. He looked me up and down lustfully. “Well, hey pretty. “The customer said in a slimy tone. His accent relaxed with the assistance of chemicals. “Can I help you?” I asked, not in the mood for sex. Guys from Terra two. They don’t give a fuck and that somehow has something to do with them always wanting to fuck. Living on this transport ship allows me to meet people from all three planets of this system all the damn time. “You have a lot of cool shit up in here. What’s this for?” He holds up a flower that I made out of paper. They were all over my shop. As decorations, and for sale. “It’s a decoration. You want it?” I asked. Terra 2 people often know what they want when they see it. “Yeah, I want it, but not this one. I need the real thing.” He slides closer to the counter using his roots instead of his legs. I swing my core branches towards him. “It’s not that type of shop That’s only legal on your planet.” I let him know. “But I’m not on a planet, we’re on Elegba.” He winced. “Yes, all of their laws are enforced here.” I lied. “Well, what about my right to fuck.” He swung his branches in frustration. “You can fuck, just not without consent and not me right now.” I explained more simple shit to a stupid person. “I think you need some stamen. You grumpy.” He cringed. “I get some when I want it, not before. If there is nothing else, you want. Then you can go to the club down the hall. That’s where you can find some seeders that want to fuck.” I said to him pointing the way. “Fo’sho” He grinded. “Yeah, that’s what I do when I want some pollen.” The smile on his face reached the ends of his front leaves. “So, I ain’t got to pay!” He stuck the flower on a shelf and rushed out with a big slimy smile on his face. I know Pollinators too well. I can find a pollinator in the club and by the end of the night, they cum, they go, and they don't bug me. Even though people from different planets are like sand and clay, too many seeders are like this. Sometimes I wonder. How do people get married? I'm not going to think about it too much or I'll welt inside.
I felt like a water break after that guy. As I turned my back the door opens. “The great star shines on all the planets in this system. How will you shine today” A new customer walks in. What the fuck? I don’t want to deal with a Siladaen today. Or any day. “How can I help you?” I tried to be nice. “Why does your shop not shine with the light of the great star? Your accent is from Silada is it not.” She said with a fake smile. “Yes, it is,” I grumbled. “Dear, you need to show it. All of this plant-made light is blinding you from the truth.” She confidently tells me what to do with my shop. “Okay” I tried to fake a smile. If my shop is so dim, then go away “What’s wrong my dear?” She asked sweetly as she picks up a red doll from one of the shelves. “I’m fine. I just want to help you if I can.” I said to her as if I was running a fucking antique shop here. “You can’t help anyone until you help yourself. This place needs to shine, you’ll get more customers that way.” Now she’s holding the doll like a sprout who’s just gotten old enough to walk. “If you find something you like let me know, and I’ll be right here,” I said to the doll because looking at her brings a small pain to my soul. She huffed and walked out tossing the doll back on the shelf. Now I can finally take that water break I wanted.
Running an antique shop on an orbital space station is like living in the center of craziness, and there is no escaping it. Placing my roots into the water filled me with the need to find me fulfillment. So, my destress choices are bath, dancing, or sex. I have time for a bath before I head out. Maybe I’ll meet someone when I go dancing. All three in one night might help me see my life for what it is. Mine! Submerging in water for people like us is best enjoyed with lots of starlight. We absorb the water from our roots along with the star to flood the body with overwhelming energy. A great way to overcome the soul drain that I have been feeling lately. Burning up this energy on the dance floor would be best. That night I was so pumped full of energy that I don’t remember getting dressed. I typically don’t care too much about what I wear until it’s time to dance. My people don’t need to wear clothing. It’s best that we don’t but the art of what we put on tells the world a lot. I love the fashion from terra 1. It’s simplistic and allows that most light to shin on your skin. Terra 1 fashion allows for more colors. Terra 1’s fashion is to soft. It washes out in the light so easily. Terra 2 haves dark and warm colors even black. Most of my closes are from Terra 2. I just cut them into the style of Tera 1.
