Melogen is designed to respect your privacy. We do not require account registration and do not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or contact details. However, we may collect limited technical and device-related data as described in this Privacy Policy.
Melogen allows users to generate music using two modes:
Instrumental Mode: You select preferences such as genre, mood, energy, production style, duration, and instruments.
With Lyrics Mode: You may provide your own lyrics or a prompt to generate lyrics using AI.
These inputs are converted into text-based prompts and used solely to generate music content. Generated files are saved locally on your device.
To provide music and lyrics generation, we use third-party AI services:
Music Generation: Processed using an open-source model hosted on our infrastructure.
Lyrics Generation: Processed via OpenAI’s services.
Data Handling:
Only prompt data and necessary technical parameters are shared.
Prompts do not include personal identifiers.
Data is transmitted securely using industry-standard encryption.
AI providers process this data only to generate the requested output and do not receive identifying user information from us.
We collect limited data necessary to operate, improve, and secure the App:
Device Identifiers: Pseudonymous identifiers such as advertising IDs (AAID/IDFA) and Firebase Installation IDs
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App (e.g., selected options, features used, session duration)
Technical Diagnostics: Crash logs and performance data to improve stability and compatibility
Purchase Validation Data: Transaction receipts or IDs provided by app stores to verify purchases and enable premium features
We do not collect or store sensitive personal data such as names, emails, or payment card details.
Melogen may offer paid features (such as passes or premium access).
All payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
We do not collect, process, or store your payment information (e.g., credit/debit card details).
We receive limited information such as transaction IDs or receipts solely to:
Validate purchases
Enable or restore access to paid features
All billing, subscriptions, renewals, and refunds are handled by the respective app store and are subject to their terms and policies.
We use Google Firebase (including Analytics and Crashlytics) to:
Understand app usage and feature engagement
Monitor performance and fix crashes
Improve overall user experience
This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you. Google processes this data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Local Storage: Generated music files and related data are stored on your device.
User Control: You can delete files at any time within the app or by uninstalling it.
Secure Transmission: Data sent to our servers or AI providers is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols.
We implement reasonable safeguards to protect data, but no system can be completely secure.
We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the App:
AI service providers for music and lyrics generation
Google Firebase for analytics and diagnostics
Apple App Store and Google Play Store for payments and subscriptions
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.
Local Data: Stored on your device until deleted by you or upon app removal
Analytics & Diagnostics Data: Retained only as long as necessary for operational and improvement purposes
Purchase Records: Retained as required to validate transactions and comply with legal obligations
Depending on your location, you may have certain privacy rights.
You can delete all locally stored data at any time
You can limit tracking by resetting your device’s advertising ID
Since no accounts are used, we generally cannot associate collected data with a specific individual
Melogen is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update the Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes occur, we will notify you within the App, and your continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
