This guide helps with severe virus infections that can happen in your computer, without formatting.
First of all, download and install Malwarebytes: Malwarebytes Cybersecurity for Home and Business | Malwarebytes
Run Malwarebytes and run a scan. When it's done, tell it to quarantine all the detections and reboot your computer.
Once done, open Malwarebytes and go to quarantine, delete all items.
Perform another scan. If the viruses are still detected you need to format your computer instead.
Viruses can change your system configuration, so we need to restore it.
Once Malwarebytes has done its work, you can proceed performing a recent restore point before the infection. If you can't perform a restore point, you should really format your PC instead.
Take note of all the affected legit programs by the restore point.
Once the restore is completed and your computer boots, you need to run Malwarebytes again.
If viruses are still found, you need to format your computer.
Having taken note of the affected legit programs you can now proceed in reinstalling and/or updating them again.
Some settings might be different, so you might need to change them too.
Now that all the viruses are gone, you can decide to remove or keep Malwarebytes.
This depends on you.
