Melody Chan's artwork, "Mind Palace," is a unique exploration of the transmission of information and logical thinking from ancient times to the present. Using the binary system(a numerical representation method used in computer systems) and her own encryption mechanism, she transformed information into the sixty-four hexagrams of the "I Ching," one of the oldest Chinese classics. She created a unique ciphertext that combines cryptology, mathematics, traditional Chinese art, and the philosophical concepts and cultural backgrounds of both East and West.
