From the sender (purchaser):
Recipient's name and your relationship to them
Free-text prompts, tone/mood selections, and occasion details used to generate the song
Your name and personal message, added before sharing
Payment is processed entirely through Apple's In-App Purchase system — we do not receive or store your card details
Automatically:
Device type, OS version, app version, and basic usage analytics, collected via Google Firebase
Crash reports and diagnostic data, collected via Firebase Crashlytics, to help us identify and fix app issues
We do not collect:
Any information from the recipient. They do not create an account, log in, or provide any personal data to view or listen to their gift.
The recipient's contact details (email, phone number) — you share the gift link yourself, through your own messaging apps.
To generate your personalized song and lyrics

To moderate lyrics and messages before a gift page becomes shareable, to prevent harmful or abusive content
To provide support and improve the app
To generate your song, the details you provide are shared with the following processors:
OpenAI — the recipient's name, your relationship to them, and the story/message details you provide are sent to OpenAI to generate the song's lyrics. This data is subject to OpenAI's own privacy and data-use terms.
Hugging Face (dedicated infrastructure) — the generated lyrics, along with your tone/mood selections, are sent to Hugging Face's infrastructure to synthesize the audio.
We do not sell this information, and it is used solely to generate your song.
Gift pages are hosted on our own servers. Generated songs are stored using iDrive, a third-party cloud storage provider.
Your gift page is accessible only to those who have the link — it is not indexed by search engines and cannot be found without it. You are responsible for sharing the link only with your intended recipient.
Personalization details (recipient name, relationship, message, prompts) are retained for as long as needed to generate and deliver your song, and for your own song's record in your library.
Your song itself remains in your own library permanently.
Data associated with a gift page (audio, message, lyrics displayed to the recipient) is deleted from our systems once the gift page's access period ends, as described in our Terms of Service.

Melochime is intended for users 18 and older, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. This policy governs the purchaser's information; a song may name a recipient of any age, but no data is collected from that recipient.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at melochime@phebsoft.com.pk. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data — contact us at the email above to exercise these rights.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
We will update the "Last updated" date above when this policy changes materially.
