Partial deprivation in chapter 4 is when your body is lacking decision making and someone's attention span is short.
Partial deprivation is a very important topic for someone to talk about because it can affect someone's mental health leading to more anxiety throughout the whole day. Not only that this can lead to car accidents happening for the lack of sleep a person is getting which makes their reaction time slower than normal. For example a time when I was partial deprivation was when I had morning classes wake up early such as 6 am and I would go to sleep around 11 pm this lead me during class to have impaired attention when the professor was speaking or teaching the lesson.
Hindsight Bias in chapter 7 is when someone predicts something that they were right about before it even happens and then says they knew it all along that it was going to happen.
Hindsight Bias is important because it allows us to open our minds instead of just keeping everything inside which sometimes can lead to anxiety and until the thing happens you saying you knew it all along which allows us to finally breathe knowing it was correct the whole time. For example a time I had Hindsight Bias is when I was in a relationship and this girl came up on the phone that he was talking to and I said to myself he was going to get with her after we broke up and until the day happened I was correct about the situation and I said I knew it all along that this was going to happen.
Optimism in chapter 14 is when someone who beliefs that good things will happen and they focus on the things they can improve on.
Optimism or known as optimistic is important for someone to have because it can bring someone to have satisfaction in themselves even though the outcome is bad but they push themselves for the better even if it was just bad luck this one time to try even hard to the next time. For example I took my permit test for the first time and I did not pass but that did not bring me down I said to myself I just need to study more and do better next time so I took it the second time and I pass my permit.
Agoraphobia in chapter 15 is when someone sees something that they are scared of such as a scorpion and they tend to run away leaving everyone behind as long as they are safe.
Agoraphobia is an important subject to talk about because it can sometimes limit a person ability to do anything since they are in fear of thing they in such as a place or even a person. For example I was going to an elevator with a family and this little girl was yelling and wanting to get away from the elevator and I see her parents trying to calm her down but that did not work as the elevator was coming to a stop the parents was saying I am sorry for all the yelling she has agoraphobia but at the time I did not know what that was until we went over it in class which reminded me what happened that day.
Observational Learning in chapter 6 is when you learn a new behavior by learning by others this also applies to animals learning from humans.
Observational Learning is important because it can show a child or a baby how behaviors are used or even new skills but sometimes there kids can learn bad things. For example I have birds who are cockatiels and from them watching me bob my head they have learned how to do it so when I bob my head they do it with me.
