Winning the stock market game was such an exciting experience and taught me so much along the way. I learned how to analyze trends, take smart risks, and make quick decisions based on the information I had. There were definitely challenges with the ups and downs of the market, but staying focused and adaptable really paid off. This whole experience showed me the value of persistence and thinking strategically.
At Markets & Webs, I serve as the president and instructor of the club. I organize meetings and teach students the basics of website design and how to market themselves or their businesses online. The club focuses on helping students build a professional online presence and think about how they can turn their ideas into real opportunities. Leading the club has also helped me develop skills in communication, leadership, and public speaking while learning how to work with and guide others.
Here are some photos of my club members and I having a Halloween party!!
I serve as the Marketing Co-Chair for the NAF Academy, where I create posts and reels for the NAF Instagram account. My role focuses on promoting events and engaging students, parents, and the community through social media content. Some of the posts I’ve created have reached a wide audience, gaining views from people both inside and outside our school community. Through this experience, I’ve learned how social media algorithms work and what types of content attract more engagement on Instagram.
Helping to film and take photos for NAF and the Burbank Rose Parade float was such a rewarding experience. I got to use my creativity and skills to capture important moments and showcase all the hard work that went into the project. Through this act of service, I learned how impactful storytelling through visuals can be and how much it brings a community together. Being part of something so meaningful made me proud to contribute in a way that celebrated everyone's dedication and effort.
When I entered the 7th grade, I was introduced to the world of graphic design and marketing. As I went up in grade level my skills in the graphic designing field have increased and I learned how to create extravagant, fun, and flashy posters/logos. This helped me tremendously on school projects and starting my own business. These are some graphics I've done including the Instagram posts I made as NAF's Marketing Co-Chair.
Taking piano and singing lessons for three years has been such an amazing journey, and earning trophies along the way made it even more special. Learning to play and sing taught me discipline, patience, and the importance of practice, while also giving me a way to express myself through music. Each performance and achievement felt like a celebration of all the hard work I put in. Looking back, I’m proud of how far I’ve come and grateful for everything I’ve learned through this experience.
In the MTC, I serve as the head of marketing for the club. I manage the club’s Instagram account and create promotional content for events and projects. I also work closely with the club leader to make sure our marketing matches the goals of the organization. Through this role, I have learned how to work as part of a team and communicate effectively when planning and promoting activities.
I’ve been painting for around 5 to 8 years now (honestly, I’ve lost count) but throughout the journey, it has helped me develop a strong grasp of the fundamentals of art. From mastering color theory to understanding composition and brush techniques, painting has allowed me to create beautiful pieces that reflect my growth and passion. It’s been a rewarding process, turning creativity into something tangible while constantly learning and improving.
