Hello! Melanie here again. Here's a small little excerpt about me as a person! I'm a native Virginian, born and raised and I come from a Cambodian lineage. My grandparents and parents immigrated over as refugees in the late 1970's and worked hard to provide me with a happy life where I'm able to freely pursue my passions.

I'm currently in school to get my Bachelor's Degree, with a major in Anthropology and a minor in Folklore and Mythology. Currently, I'm enrolled with Northern Virginia Community College (NoVA) and once finished, plan to enroll in a four-year university.

I've also loved art in many of its forms all my life. Just like for many others, it started as a small hobby that spiraled into one of the biggest parts of my life. In school, I joined my high school's National Art Honor Society (NAHS) as well as involved myself in many other artistic departments such as choir and theatre. 

I began doing traditional and digital art more professionally starting at the end of my high school career into college with smaller, less extravagant pieces; lettering and decorating cards for birthdays, holidays, and any other special occasion. I have also been commissioned to draw up logos as well as sellable and decorative designs. More recently, I've been asked to design character cards and background imagery. In my free time, I often devote it to improving and practicing my art skills as I believe there is always room for improvement.
