3 Principles of Animation

Timing

At the beginning of the animation, it starts off slow so imitate the car going up the hill slowly to build momentum. After it reaches the first hill it starts to pick up and go faster.

Slow In and Slow Out

The rollercoaster needs time at the beginning to build up momentum therefore it starts out still and gets faster. Also in the end it slows down to mimic the lost of momentum and the end of the ride/video

Arc

The rollercoaster has the arcs like a real rollercoaster to help simulate a more realistic ride. In addition, the car also follows the path of the arcs with the car tipping up and down as it moves throughout the coaster.

Final Video

Problems

When I used a Mash to create a line of rails for the rollercoaster and then constraining the rails to the motion path, the end of the rollercoaster doesn't match up perfectly with the beginning of the rollercoaster which bothers me but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
