I am a PhD student in Economics, and make research on international migration and labor markets
Originally from Turkey, I earned my bachelor's degree in Management with a minor in Economics and later completed a master's in Economics at Boğaziçi University. My academic journey ignited a strong interest in migration, historical economics, and applied econometrics, leading me to explore these fields through hands-on research and teaching experiences.
During my master's, I search the factors driving human migration fdurint the Colonial Era, using innovative methods to uncover the complex connections behind population movements. Alongside my research, I contributed as a teaching assistant in courses ranging from statistics to risk and insurance, solidifying my analytical and pedagogical skills.
