About Me:
About me, I have a lot of hobbies. I love to sing, country swing dance, play board and card games, be with family and friends, be outside, and go on adventures. I was born and raised in Utah. I am the second oldest of five children, with three brothers and a twin sister; my family is super important to me. I love to stay organized, actively participate, and set goals, which are some things that help me succeed in life. Some things about me: I am a hard worker and work well in leadership roles as well as in group positions. I will graduate from the OTA program in the spring of 2026.
Occupational therapy (OT) is a healthcare profession focused on helping individuals of all ages perform daily activities (or "occupations") that are meaningful to them. These activities may range from self-care tasks like dressing and eating to work-related or recreational pursuits. The primary goal is to improve or maintain a person's ability to function independently and participate fully in life, despite physical, mental, developmental, or emotional challenges.
OT emphasizes a holistic approach, considering not just the physical, but also the social, emotional, and environmental factors that influence a person's life.
