Welcome! This page highlights how I use technology to empower students, support teachers, and grow a future-ready library. From digital lessons to staff PD, I strive to make tech engaging, accessible, and meaningful for all.
In my classes, students have the opportunity to explore a variety of digital tools to support creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. One area I’ve placed special emphasis on is the use of Google tools, as I’ve identified a strong need for students to build confidence and independence in using these platforms. Through hands-on projects, students learn how to effectively use Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, and more—skills that not only help them succeed in school but also prepare them for future learning and digital citizenship.
Below are examples of fun and engaging student-created projects using Google tools. Click on the images to explore their work!
In my Technology Class, students actively engaged with design principles by creating original works in Canva. To foster an understanding of artificial intelligence in everyday applications, from job candidate screening to content generation, we introduced a unique evaluation element. Students had the opportunity to submit their Canva designs to an AI for assessment, providing a playful yet insightful exploration of how AI perceives creative output.
I integrate digital citizenship and media literacy instruction across all middle school grade levels. Using the Kentucky Digital Driver's License (DDL) program as a foundation, I guided students in grades 6, 7, and 8 through a series of interactive lessons and reflections that promote safe, responsible, and informed technology use.

I possess strong technological proficiency and am passionate about empowering others to effectively utilize everyday tools. I excel at developing clear, concise guides and resources to support educators and staff in their work. Recognizing the time constraints faced by classroom teachers, I am committed to simplifying the learning process for new programs and software. I thrive in the role of a technology support provider, and I've included examples of my work that demonstrate my approach to facilitating technology integration.
This instructional slide displays one of the programs I managed and was used at a PD with the staff.
This video is an example of a video I created to share with staff to show them how to use our new Help Desk Ticketing system in the school.
BONUS - As part of my role at Gray Construction outside of education, I created instructional manuals for processes through our digital platforms.
Being a School Technology Coordinator requires you to be very organized and able to allow staff to get the information they need quickly. I created a Google Sheet that allows for staff to keep track of communication with everything I share, but in a format that can be easily copied, since Google Sites is not always the easiest to save and share.
I bridge the gap between educational data and administrative action through advanced Google Sheets integration. My Math Progress Tracker (featured to the right) provides a clear roadmap for student achievement, moving from individual data points to school-wide trends. This system will serve as the foundation for our school’s math small-group and Continuum initiatives next year. Explore the items below to see further examples of how I utilize data to support K-12 excellence.
