Through data from the NASA Space Biosciences Division's microgravity experiments, I am currently exploring the use of Python to process experimental data, create models, and ultimately draw conclusions from RR-9 to identify the adverse impacts of long-duration space travel on human physiology and histology.
Selected to partake in the NASA research program. Explored bioinformatics via JupyterLab notebooks and examination of NASA OSDR datasets. Ran bioinformatic RNA-sequencing analysis to obtain data from antigravity experiments and acquire insight into changes in human physiology during space travel. Investigated space omics to advance understanding of the health impacts of space flight.
Selected as 1 of 8 students nationwide for the AEOP (Army Educational Outreach) Internship Program at the Laboratory for Advanced Energy, Biofluids, and Imaging to analyze the behavior of biofilm and extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) within PDMS microchannels, led and mentored Dr. Jian Sheng and PhD candidate Wenjun Yi.
2025 Session-Mentored by engineering professor Dr. Ovais Khan in SolidWorks and CAD software. Designed and integrated a functional propulsion system for a model of the commercial aircraft Dassault Falcon 20z
2024 Session-Participated in the U.S. Department of Education research program under the mentorship of associate engineering professor Dr. Chongwei Xiao and PhD student Anandhu Rajesh to model the industrial distillation process using Aspen Plus software

Through the American Public Health Association Climate for Health Training, I became a Climate for Health Ambassador and have engaged in educating myself and my community on the health impacts of climate change and what can be done locally and globally to mitigate its outcomes. I recently presented this initiative to several students at my high school campus, leading them in the construction of a campus heat response plan. I also provided additional information on Climate for Health to over 90 students.
Joined an international team of 63 volunteers dedicated to promoting women’s reproductive health through public education and resources.
