Getting Started
Q: How do I record my first meeting?
A: Open Meeting Mind, tap the Record tab, select a meeting template, enter a title, and tap Start Recording. The app will automatically transcribe your conversation in real-time.
Q: What meeting templates are available?
A: Meeting Mind includes 5 built-in templates:
General Meeting
Sales Call
1-on-1 Meeting
Daily Standup
Project Planning
You can also create custom templates in Settings.
Recording & Transcription
Q: Why isn't speech recognition working?
A: Please check:
Microphone permission is enabled (Settings → Meeting Mind → Microphone)
Speech Recognition permission is enabled (Settings → Meeting Mind → Speech Recognition)
You have an active internet connection (required for initial setup)
Q: Can I import existing audio files?
A: Yes! Meeting Mind supports MP3, M4A, WAV, and AAC files. Tap "Import Audio" on the home screen to transcribe existing recordings.
Q: How accurate is the transcription?
A: Meeting Mind uses Apple's Speech Recognition technology with 95%+ accuracy. Accuracy depends on audio quality, background noise, and speaker clarity.
AI Features
Q: How do AI summaries work?
A: After recording, Meeting Mind sends your transcript to Claude AI (by Anthropic) to generate intelligent summaries, extract action items, and identify key decisions.
Q: Can I ask questions about my meetings?
A: Yes! Open any meeting and tap "Ask AI" to chat with Claude about your meeting content. You can ask follow-up questions, request clarifications, or get additional insights.
Action Items & Reminders
Q: How do I enable reminders?
A: Go to Settings → Reminders → Enable Reminders. You'll need to allow notification permissions when prompted.
Q: When do I receive reminder notifications?
A: For action items with deadlines, you'll receive notifications:
1 day before the deadline
Morning of the deadline (9 AM)
1 hour before the deadline
Export & Sharing
Q: How do I export a meeting?
A: Open any meeting, tap "Export", and choose PDF or Text format. You can then share via email, Messages, AirDrop, or any other app.
Q: What's included in exports?
A: Exports include the meeting title, date, summary, key decisions, action items with assignees and deadlines, timestamped notes, and next steps.

Q: What's included in the free version?
A: Free users can record up to 3 meetings with all features included.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to iPhone Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Meeting Mind → Cancel Subscription.
Q: How do I restore my purchase?
A: Open Meeting Mind → Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases.
Troubleshooting
Q: The app is crashing. What should I do?
A: Try these steps:
Force quit and restart the app
Restart your device
Check for app updates in the App Store

Q: My meetings aren't syncing to the widget.
A: Ensure both the app and widget have the same App Group enabled. Try removing and re-adding the widget, or restart your device.
Q: Audio playback isn't working.
A: Check that your device isn't on silent mode and volume is turned up. If issues persist, try restarting the app.
Privacy & Data
Q: Where is my data stored?
A: All your meeting recordings, transcripts, and data are stored locally on your device. We do not store your data on external servers.
Q: Is my data secure?
A: Yes. Data is encrypted on your device. When transcripts are sent for AI analysis, they're transmitted using secure TLS encryption and are not stored by the AI provider.
Q: How do I delete my data?
A: You can delete individual meetings within the app. To delete all data, uninstall the app from your device.
