How to go from Guadalajara's international airport "Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla" (GDL) to the city downtown

Guadalajara's airport is about 17km from the city's downtown, located in "Carretera a Chapala" highway. The easiest way to reach the center of the city is by taking a Taxi, using the safe stands inside the airport and being sure about the final price, that should be around $350 mexican pesos (17.5 euros). If you prefer, you can ask for an Uber in your cellphone using free airport WiFi, it usually cost $250 mexican pesos (12.5 euros) and the waiting time usually is short.

Once on the city's downtown, you can use public transport to reach different places; specially the Meeting venue, CUCEI, is reachable via city's train. Card payment is not possible, you can buy a single use ticked on the machines inside train stations with coins. For bus, payment is directly inside the bus via coins. Either cost $10 mexican pesos.
