The name of the project is Green. Green is a term used to describe someone who for lack of better terms is considered to lack certain life experiences and who may be thought to be innocent or naive. After being called green by someone, I decided to connect it with my suburban upbringing in order to determine if the idea of being Green correlated with the way I was raised. After I provide my perspective of what I think it means to be green, I invite some of my friends to engage in a zoom discussion about Black American suburbia living.
