Activities

Services and Outreach

  • I was the head coordinator of Binghamton University Graduate Combinatorics, Algebra and Topology Conference (BUGCAT Conference) during the years 2021 and 2022.  BUGCAT Conference is held annually every Fall semester at Binghamton University.  The conference gives the opportunity for graduate students from diverse areas to present their research. It is also a great place to meet other graduate students! You can find more about the conference here: https://seminars.math.binghamton.edu/BUGCAT/index.html .
  • In Fall 2023, I co-organized the Math Grad Student Seminar with Tara Koskulitz .
  • I organized the Grad Career Panel during the Fall 2023 semester.  A panel of five former math grad students  answered questions that graduate students had about the job application process, job prospects, and life after grad school. Our panelists were Tim Susse, Ulysses Alvarez, Matt Evans, Chris Eppolito and Chris Chia.
  • I served as a member of the organizing committee for BUGCAT 2020.
  • I volunteered to tutor speech/hearing impaired students basic English writing at National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH), TVM Kerala, India.
