This Content & Image Usage Consent (“Consent”) explains how images and content are handled when you use Meem AI.

Meem AI is a simple, fun app that allows you to upload a photo and generate meme-style Sinhala captions using artificial intelligence.

By uploading or processing any content in the App, you agree to this Consent.

1. Ownership & Responsibility

You retain full ownership of any images you upload (“User Content”).

By using Meem AI, you confirm that:

• You own the content, or

• You have all necessary rights and permissions to use and upload it

This includes permission from:

• Any individuals shown in the image

• The original creator or copyright holder

You are solely responsible for the content you upload.

2. Limited Use of Your Content

Your images are used only to generate meme captions and provide the core functionality of the App.

• Your content is not stored permanently

• Your content is deleted after processing

• Your content is not used to train or improve AI models

We do not retain a copy of your images beyond what is necessary to complete the request.

3. AI Processing (Google Gemini)

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Your uploaded images are sent to our backend and to Google Gemini API (Google LLC) to generate captions

• We send a temporary encoded preview of the photo you choose to Google Gemini. Account and usage data are processed on our servers only and are not sent to Gemini

• Images are not stored permanently and are not used to train AI models on your personal content

• The generated output may be creative, humorous, or unexpected

• We do not guarantee accuracy, appropriateness, or suitability of generated captions

Before your first use of caption generation after sign-in, the app requires explicit in-app consent that names Google Gemini and describes this data sharing.

4. Content Restrictions

To help keep Meem AI safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone, you agree not to upload unlawful, inappropriate, harmful, or sensitive content, including but not limited to:

• Is sexually explicit or NSFW

• Is abusive, hateful, or harmful

• Violates any law or regulation

• Infringes copyright, privacy, or other rights

• Violence, injuries, blood, or death

• Weapons, drugs, or criminal activity

• Politics, politicians, or government topics

• Religion-associated people, locations, or symbols

• Race, nationality, or sensitive identity topics

• Disabilities, medical conditions, or vulnerable individuals

• Military, police, or law enforcement scenes

• Hate symbols, extremist content, or harmful material

We reserve the right to block or restrict access for violations.

5. Sharing Generated Content

Meem AI does not provide a public feed or internal sharing platform.

However, you may choose to share generated memes externally (e.g., messaging apps or social media).

You are responsible for:

• How you share the content

• Ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and platform rules

6. No AI Training Use

Your images and generated content are not used to:

• Train machine learning models

• Improve AI systems using your personal content

7. Data Handling

Because Meem AI operates globally:

• Your content may be processed on servers located in different countries

• We take reasonable steps to ensure secure processing

However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Limitation of Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

• You are fully responsible for the content you upload and share

• We are not responsible for misuse of generated memes

• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App

9. Your Consent

By using Meem AI, you:

• Confirm you have the legal right to upload your content

• Consent to temporary AI processing of your images

• Agree to this Content & Image Usage Consent
