2023 MIT Schedule of Events

Tuesday, December 26th, 2022

9:00 p.m. – All teams need to have their accounts established in Trackwrestling.com.  All names and seeding information needs to be entered.  If you have any questions, call Christopher Kallai at 330-414-9096.

Wednesday, December 27th, 2022

5:00-9:00 p.m. – Team Workouts and Packet Pick-Up

     If you are not coming in on Tuesday and have changes before weigh-ins, please call Lynn at 330-391-1930 or Christopher Kallai Jr. of Wrestle One at 330-414-9096

Thursday, December 28th, 2022

7:00 a.m. – School opens; Teams check-in at head table 

7:45 a.m. – Cut-off time for changing seeding or roster.

8:00-9:00 a.m. – Skin checks and weigh-ins by team (order of weigh-ins will be based on team arrival OR Medical Exceptions)

8:30 a.m. – Doors Open to the Public. ***Can pay cash at the ticket doors the day of***

9:30 a.m. – Coaches meeting in hospitality room

9:45 a.m. – Presentation of Teams [1st set of brackets should be to you around this time] followed by National Anthem

10:00 a.m. – Start first day of wrestling (rat-tails, two rounds championship, consolation rat-tails)

**we will break for about ½ to one hour before the evening rounds**

5:30-6:00 p.m. – Evening wrestling session begins  (consolation, quarterfinals, consolation)

TBA – Weigh-outs will occur halfway through quarterfinals by weight class; weigh-outs will close ½ hour after last  match has been wrestled for the day

Friday, December 29th, 2022

7:00 a.m. – School opens; Teams check-in at head table

7:30 a.m. – Skin checks for wrestlers except Semifinalists; any remaining wrestlers who need to weigh-in as well

8:00 a.m. – Doors open for public to enter facility

8:30 a.m. – Coaches meeting in hospitality room

9:00 a.m. – Start the second day of wrestling. Semifinalists will do their skin checks after wrestling has started.

We are estimating the Semifinals will begin around 11:30 am.  The last round will be consolation semifinals and matches for 7th and 8th place [finish around 2:30-3:00]

3:30 p.m. – Wrestlers line-up for Parade of Champions

3:50 p.m. – Parade of Champions followed by National Anthem

4:00 p.m. – Start finals, completion around 7:00 p.m.
