To register for courses with the Medina Homeschool, please follow the steps below. Please register with the intent to participate from September until June.

Option 1: Apply to be a Full Time OVA Student - Fall 2026/Spring 2027
Enroll as a full time student through OVA during their school of choice window. With this option, you get the curriculum for the core courses (Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies) provided by OVA and 2 fully funded electives at Medina Homeschool.
You are expected to complete the core curriculum either at home at the pace suggested by OVA OR you can join our POD at Medina Homeschool and complete it as a group. You will be required to submit all work online to the OVA Teachers for a grade.
Note: There are no online weekly or daily classes. Curriculum is provided via textbooks and workbooks and students are required to submit it online once complete. If additional help is required, OVA teachers have open zoom hours and can assist students with any topics that are a part of the assigned curriculum.
Each elective course has an online portion that MUST be completed for funding to be secure and a grade to be received for the course.
Fees:
$15 student membership fee, per semester
First 2 classes are fully funded through OVA, with an option of adding additional classes at the self-pay rate.
$100 additional for horseback riding, per semester.
Option 2: Apply to be a Part Time OVA Student - Fall 2026/Spring 2027
Enroll as a part time student through OVA during their school of choice window. With this option, you can get up to 4 fully funded electives at Medina Homeschool. However, you will be considered a homeschooled student and will not get access to the core courses. You will be responsible for your child's core education.
Each elective course has an online portion that MUST be completed for funding to be secure and a grade to be received for the course.
Fees:
$15 student membership fee, per semester (non-refundable)
First 4 classes are fully funded through OVA, with an option of adding additional classes at the self-pay rate.
$100 additional for horseback riding, per semester
Option 3: Register as a Self-pay Student - Fall 2026/Spring 2027
You may take as many classes as you would like without enrolling in Oxford Virtual Academy (OVA) at the listed self-pay rates.
Fees:
$15 student membership fee, per semester (non-refundable)
$150 per class for on-site elective classes, including archery, $450 for kindergarten, $280 for fencing, $280 for swimming, $340 for gymnastics, and $420 for horseback riding, per semester.
Complete this form to select your classes and complete the necessary Medical and Media Release forms.

Pay the non-refundable $15 membership fee per student and any applicable fees for the courses depending on your funding status.
A link to pay the fees will be emailed to you after you submit your registration form.
Any applicable liability waivers for the classes you are selecting will also be emailed to you.
To enroll as a student through OVA, please visit: https://www.oxfordvirtualacademy.org/. During their School of Choice window, you will complete the Pre-Enrollment Form. Once you complete this form, you will receive an email to create a PowerSchool account. You will have to create an account and complete all the standard school enrollment forms and upload the required documents.
To enroll as a student, you will need the following documents:
1. Original Birth Certificate
2. Parent/Guardian ID
3. 2-Proofs of Residency
4. Immunization Record or Waiver
5. Health Appraisal Form (from your doctor’s office)
Once your OVA enrollment is complete, you will receive a "Welcome to OVA" email indicating your enrollment is now complete.
*Your registration is not complete until you complete the registration form and have paid your fees, as applicable. You will receive a confirmation with your schedule via e-mail to complete the registration process for your selected courses.
